Adapted from the ancient Greek myth, Push tells the story of Sisyphus, the first King of Corinth as he runs from eternal punishment in the underworld. Grappling with the inevitability of death, the absurdity of life, and the power of acceptance, Push draws its influence from folk songs and campfire stories. Utilizing Japanese Jo and Bō staffs, this piece is designed to be truly mobile; all that is needed are two sticks, an empty space and people willing to listen.
